Robert J. ‘Bob’ Campbell

Robert J. “Bob” Campbell, 71, of Hollidaysburg, peacefully passed away Monday afternoon at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was born in Mt. Lebanon, son of the late Robert M. and Ruth Anne (McCombs) Campbell.

Bob married Carol J. Nemic on April 27, 1991.

Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years; two daughters, Shannon Woodard (Jeff) of Golden, Colo., and Wendy Stitt of Hollidaysburg; three grandchildren: Delanie Morgan (Chris), Evan Kelly and Alister Woodard; and three great-grandchildren: Cecelia, Isla and Thea Morgan.

Bob was a graduate of Penn State University, with a master’s degree in agricultural economics.

He retired from U.S. Food Service with 40 years of service as a sales analyst and previously had been the vice president of operations.

Bob was a member of the Jaffa Shrine and was a 32˚ Mason of the Scottish Rite-Hollidaysburg. He was also a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association.

Bob enjoyed playing golf and working crossword puzzles, but he ultimately loved spending time with his family.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Entombment will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery, McKeesport.

Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
