Eileen F. (Wicker) Myers

Eileen F. (Wicker) Myers, 79, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Lloyd and Bertha (Clark) Wicker. She married Paul E. Myers in 1968, who preceded her in death in 1999, after sharing 31 years of marriage. Surviving are her two sisters, Judy Conrad and Diane Friday (Jeff); a brother, David Wicker (Sue); and five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Nick Conrad. There will be no public services. Cremation service by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Robert Grover Mountain

Robert Grover Mountain, 70, Altoona, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert Cloyd and Betty Jean (Cramer) Mountain. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tanta Lee Mountain; a son, Aaron Mountain; and a brother, George Mountain. Surviving are seven children; many loving grandchildren; and six siblings. Robert attended Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He enjoyed car shows and trucks and especially loved being a grandfather. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
