R. Blaine Locke

R. Blaine Locke, 88, of Fanning Springs, Fla., formerly of Altoona, passed away peacefully Nov. 24, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the son of William and Margaret (Pope) Locke.
Blaine was married for 66 years to his beloved wife, Barbara (England) Locke, who survives. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Darron (Melissa) Locke and Tammy (Kirk) Schilling; his grandchildren: Keri, Stephanie, Kyle,
Conner, Alexis, Abby and Olivia; his great-grandchildren: Braylinne, Brystlee, Dominic, Dimitri, Gianna, Waylon, Walker and Rosie; two sisters, Connie (Jessie) Blazer and Judy Wolff; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Robert Locke; and his brother, Clair Locke.
Blaine retired as vice president from M&T Bank after 45 years, where he was respected for his dedication and leadership. In retirement, he remained active in his local church community and enjoyed pursuing many passions, including antique cars, shuffleboard and time spent with family.
Blaine will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence and the deep love he had for those around him. His legacy lives on in the faith, kindness, and devotion he shared so generously throughout his life.
