Julia M. “Julie” Risbon, 85, Altoona, passed away late Tuesday evening at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehab. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Sheldon and Dorothy Cora (Sonday) Stewart.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery Risbon, of Altoona; Shelda Campbell of Altoona; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Edward Stewart, Betty Dively and Deborah Baumgartner.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Risbon; son-in-law, Thomas Campbell; and great-grandson, Steven Risbon.
Julie was a 1958 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aide Society. She loved cooking, animals, the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with family.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Inurnment will be made at Blair Memorial Park.
