Gault

No this is not the police blog, so mind your business.

Phillip Earl Gault II, 58, known as Skip or Skipper, passed away on Feb. 19, 2025, at Mount Nittany Hospital, surrounded by loved ones he could tolerate, with a chew in and fighting with the medical staff.

If you do not already know his life story, it is because he didn’t want you to, or care if you did. Skip was known for his “enthusiastic” personality and being “pleasant.” In his free time, Skip enjoyed a beer and a shot, going to camp and going out to breakfast with his fiancee, Jo.

Surviving him are his fiancee, Jo-Ellen; mother, Marian; a sister, Lisa; two sons, Nick and Zach; two dogs, Jose and Baxter, whom he referred to as his heater; a cat named fat foot or Luna; and a bird that is currently missing.

A reception of friends to celebrate Phil “Skip” Earl Gault II’s life will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company, 1216 Blair Ave., Tyrone, PA 16686.
