Scott Galant

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley J. Galant; and his significant other, Linda Plutko.

Surviving are his mother, Susan; a son, Braden Galant; granddaughter, Oakley Jo Galant; sister, Sandy Trotter; brother-in-law, Stewart Trotter; and two nieces, Olivia and Madison Trotter.

Scott graduated from Pennsylvania State University and worked as a self-employed CPA and a contractor.

Scott was a member of the Concordia Society. He enjoyed woodworking and loved being a contractor.

He loved spending time with his dogs, Ally and Jebi. He also liked watching Steelers Football and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona. The family deeply requests those in attendance to wear Steelers apparel to the viewing in honor of Scott’s love for the Steelers.

A Funeral Service Outside of Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at the funeral home by Monsignor Stanley Carson.

Entombment is at Calvary Cemetery.
