Elaine (Black) Cogley, 65, Duncansville, died Wednesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Alda (Swain) and the late James Black. Surviving are her two sons: Justin and wife, Brittany and Jordan, and wife, Kayla; a granddaughter, Lyla; a grandson, Connor; her mother; and a brother, Jim Black Jr. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Stephen. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home.
Sheanna L. Gagliardi, 28, DuBois, formerly of Houtzdale, died Friday. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of Leonard Bloom and Sheena (Glass) Jordan. On June 11, 2022, she married Joshua D. Gagliardi Sr. In addition to her husband and parents, surviving are a son, Joshua Jr.; and siblings: Shiana, Mckinnion, Dravin, Garrett, Hunter and Ethan. James Richard “Jim” Edwards, 96, of Martinsburg, passed away July 24, 2025, after a sudden medical event. He was born in Altoona, to Mary Hazel (Prosser) and Leonard Philip Edwards. Jim served our country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a son-in-law.
