James Richard ‘Jim’ Edwards

James Richard “Jim” Edwards, 96, of Martinsburg, passed away July 24, 2025, after a sudden medical event. He was born in Altoona, to Mary Hazel (Prosser) and Leonard Philip Edwards. Jim served our country in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a son-in-law. Surviving are his soul mate and best friend, Lois; his daughters, Pam (Paul) and Connie (Mark); his son, Burt (Kim); and several grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10:30 until the 11:30 a.m. memorial service Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at Givler Cultural Center, 437 Givler Drive, Martinsburg.
