Thomas D. “Tom” Taylor, 73, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona after a long illness. He was born in Wilmington, Del., son of the late David R. and Joann C. (Carlin) Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Diane; three sisters: Kathy Casey, Carol Taylor and Anne Hudson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his youngest sister, Colleen Taylor. Friends will be received at the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
