Robert E. Brown, 89, of Houtzdale, died Monday at Maybrook Hills Rehab and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Arthur and Sarah (Metzgar) Brown. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mabel (Lobb) Brown, whom he married on March 4, 1961, in Winchester, Va.
