The Rev. Dean G. Rose

The Rev. Dean G. Rose, 78, Altoona, died Wednesday at home. He was born in Hartford, Conn., son of the late George and Elinor (Buckland) Rose. He married Barbara (Horvath) Von Noaker in 2001. She preceded him in death in 2020. He is survived by a daughter, Angel Weyandt; grandchildren, Jade and Rivington; and many great friends and neighbors. Mr. Rose was a 1965 graduate of Altoona High School, a U.S. Army veteran and a retired lineman. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public service. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
