William G. Ambrose, 84, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Lynn E. and Mary J. Houck Ambrose. Bill served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a 50-plus-year Past Master of Logan Lodge 490, Altoona. Bill was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Greensburg. His greatest joy in life was his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James W. Ambrose; and two brothers, Lynn K. and James H. Ambrose. Bill is survived by his wife, Janet R. Forlina on Oct. 3, 2015, in Altoona. Surviving are his wife, Kristy; his mother, Shirley; his fur baby dog, Athena; two brothers, Mark (Mark) and Michael (girlfriend, Robin). Donald T. Merrill, 79, Patton, died Wednesday. He was born in Colver, son of the late Scott and Mae (Thomas) Merrill. Surviving are his loving wife, Janet, of 59 years; a daughter, Dawn Merrill; a son, Darin S.
