Murray J. Gardner, 82, of Canoe Creek, rural Hollidaysburg, died Monday. He was born in Canoe Creek, son of the late Walter S. Sr. and Lillian (Snyder) Gardner. He was preceded in death by siblings: Walter Jr., Gordon “Cork” and George “Bud.” Surviving are his partner, Bonnie Patz; nephews: Walter “Skip,” Timothy and Terry Gardner; niece, Cindy Brown; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
