Paul T. Moyer Jr., 43, Altoona, died Sunday at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Paul Sr. and Carrie (Sorge) Moyer. In 2007, he married Rachael L. Simonis, his wife of 19 years, who survives along with a daughter, Lilith. He was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and attended South Hills Altoona and Mount Aloysius College, where he obtained his MBA. He enjoyed motorcycles, hunting and games. Charles E. Yon

Charles E. Yon, 69, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Mary (Moyer) Yon. He married Nancy Stotler Smith in 2000. Surviving are his wife of 26 years; a daughter, Amy Whaley; siblings: Steve and Lori; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Chuck graduated from Somerset High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a boat tech. Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting and model airplanes. Lee T. Papadeas, 73, Altoona, passed away April 7, 2026. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Theodore L. “Ted” and Helen (Mastos) Papadeas. Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Papadeas. Surviving are his sister, Cheryl Papadeas; aunt, Sophie Woodall; nieces and nephews: Krista Johnson, Ronald Samuel II, Stephanie Barr and Stevie Summerville; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and his beloved dog, Jake. At the family’s request, a private service was held Monday, April 13, 2026. Arrangements were by Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care Inc., Altoona.
