Public invited to Jaffa Shrine celebration

The Jaffa Shriners will celebrate the official listing of their Broad Avenue headquarters on the National Register of Historic Places during a special ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14. The event will be held in the building’s banquet hall and will feature the unveiling of a bronze plaque commemorating this milestone. The public is invited to attend the ceremony. Claysburg-Kimmel School District is facing a $744,703 deficit as board members continue to work to balance the 2026-27 budget.
