A memo filed by Rep Jill Cooper, R-Allegheny, with bipartisan cosponsors gives an additional job to the state Education Secretary when deciding whether to approve a campus closing application or not. The Blair County Mosquito-borne Disease Control Program will conduct a truck-mounted ultra-low-volume mosquito control operation today, Thursday, Sept. 10, in portions of Antis Township, Blair Township and Hollidaysburg Borough.
