Frankstown Township supervisor ordered to pay $48K
The state ethics commission has ordered a longtime Frankstown Township supervisor to pay $48,000 to the township for Ethics Act violations. The order issued Tuesday states that ethics violations occurred when George Henry voted several times for a developer’s project within the township, knowing that his own business, Henry’s Enterprises Inc., would benefit from the plan. Connellsville man files suit against Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center in Williamsburg
A Connellsville man has filed a federal civil rights complaint in the District Court at Johnstown seeking admission to the Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center in Williamsburg. Zachary Thomas Spada, 35, contended in his lawsuit that he was accepted earlier this month for residential substance-use-disorder treatment at Cove Forge, which is part of the Pennsylvania-based White Deer Run Treatment Network.
