VA unveils new combined pharmacy/support center

The Van Zandt VA Medical Center has opened a first floor space that contains the hospital’s relocated pharmacy and an expanded Veteran Experience Center, according to a hospital news release.

Patients can get their prescriptions filled in the new space as they meet with veteran service officers and patient advocates, “making it easier for veterans to get the assistance and support they need all in one place,” a news release states.

There will be a ribbon cutting May 7.
