State police investigating theft of $17,000 in jewelry from Hollidaysburg home
State police are investigating after more than $17,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from the Hollidaysburg residence of a 71-year-old woman.
According to a news release, the victim reported the theft of about 56 pieces on Feb. 24.
The pieces include a white-gold multicolored sapphire band with diamonds; a yellow-gold lapis lazuli ring with an oval stone that has a gold line; a yellow-gold jade ring; a three-strand pearl necklace with a gold and pearl clasp; several watches including one with a gold band; St. Christopher silver necklace; green jade necklace; white jade necklace; ruby gold necklace; ruby gold earrings; a two-inch silver bracelet; filigree silver earrings and bracelet; silver cameo bracelet and earrings; a gold broach with pearl birds; pearl earrings with long silver curved wires; black opal necklace in yellow gold; sapphire and diamond broach; sapphire and pearl necklace; gold garnet broach; gold diamond studs; gold diamond earrings; sapphire and diamond gold earrings; gold and champagne diamond ring; white and yellow gold omega necklace; multiple pairs of gold and silver earrings; ammolite silver ring and earrings; silver necklace with multiple crosses; rope necklace; several bracelets; several necklaces with precious stones; multiple rings with filigree silver artisan design; gold Greek key bracelet; antique diamond ring; cameo gold broach; gold gate bracelet and earrings; black onyx and gold hoop earrings; black onyx and gold earrings; gold and diamond eternity ring; silver and cherry amber necklace and ring; diamond stud earrings; diamond studs on gold necklace; amethyst and gold necklace; diamond and gold earrings and necklace; pink diamond ring in gold; pendant of precious stones and chain; and a gold oval locket and chain.
