Sheetz plans to hire 500
Sheetz announced immediate plans Wednesday to hire 500 employees in Pennsylvania.
Sheetz will be hosting hiring events with on-the-spot interviews at each of its 315 Pennsylvania locations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 25 as part of a broader hiring effort taking place at all of its more than 810 locations across its seven-state footprint. In total, the company aims to hire 1,540 employees company-wide.
Sheetz is focused on hiring store team members, supervisors and assistant managers.
Candidates interested in attending a hiring event will need to apply for a store position online at jobs.sheetz.com before arriving. Once inside the store, individuals can scan the QR code provided by Sheetz to sign in and then check in at the cash register. Once checked in, candidates may enjoy a complimentary soda and take a seat while awaiting their interview.

SpeedPro now open
SpeedPro of Central PA is now open for business at 526 N. Fourth St., Ste. 1.
A leading provider of best-in-class large format printing and graphics, Speed Pro of Central PA is under the ownership of locals Sara and Jake Bilthuis.
The studio will host a grand opening event at 11:30 a.m. April 13. Local business owners and community members are invited to tour the facility with a variety of activities and refreshments planned.
SpeedPro Central PA specializes in large-scale, high-resolution graphics, including car wraps, banners, decals, trade show displays, wall murals and indoor and outdoor signage. The studio hopes to quickly establish itself as a top-performing location within the SpeedPro network while establishing strong partnerships across the region.
The studio will serve the greater central Pennsylvania region, including Bedford, Juniata, Altoona, State College and beyond.
