PennDOT announced a public meeting concerning plans to replace the bridge on Route 271 (24th Street/Nicktown Hill Road) in Northern Cambria.
The meeting is scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Northern Cambria Borough Building, 1202 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project.
The project will consist of the replacement of the bridge superstructure, minor roadway approach work and upgrading guiderails, signs and pavement markings to meet current standards.
The project timeframe is June to August 2028 and a detour will be implemented over a three-week period during construction to allow the contractor full access to the bridge.
