What products or services does your company provide?
I have been making burlap and other wreaths for 11 years. We offer customized wreaths and home decor pieces, 100 percent eco soy candles and soy wax melts.
Who are your customers?
Anyone! We have candle fragrances that appeal to men and women.
What is your business day like?
I am also involved in local event planning for the CRE814 team. Otherwise it’s mostly burlap and wax. We have a Facebook and Instagram that are updated daily as well.
What is the best business advice you have received?
“Just keep going.” As well as anything from Jen Hrnivnak, owner of Joos & JJ Hadleys — she is my role model.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job?
People want to SEE you! We do pop ups at local boutiques and businesses in Blair County.
What does the future hold?
My big dreams of having a brick and mortar space for Wreaths & Revival + BUNK Candles.
What have you read lately that has influenced your business life?
“You know what’s the most attractive trait on this planet? Authenticity. The people who are completely and unapologetically themselves. They are not afraid to make mistakes. They are not afraid to make a complete fool of themselves to get where they need to be. They are not afraid of vulnerability because they know that in the end they’ll recover. That’s it right there.” — Pennsylvania-based musician Megan Helbig, who performs under the name GFTF
