HASD sets registration

Hollidaysburg Area School District has announced the dates for registration for students entering kindergarten and first grade in the 2024-25 school year. Children who are 5 years old before Sept. 1, 2024, are eligible for kindergarten. Children who are 6 years old before Sept. 1, 2024, are eligible for first grade. HARRISBURG — Attorney General Michelle Henry congratulated the winners of the Office of Attorney General’s 27th Annual Drug-Free Calendar Contest. Avery Smith, Forest Hills Elementary School, Cambria County, was selected for April. During National Substance Abuse Prevention Month in October, fifth-grade students across the Commonwealth were encouraged to create an original piece of artwork that illustrates a drug-free message.
