Chorale to perform two holiday concerts

In its 41st season, the Allegheny Chorale will present its annual holiday concert, “Sharing Christmas Joy.” The Chorale will perform two concerts: 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1407 Eighth Ave., Altoona, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, at First Presbyterian Church, 13th Street and Logan Avenue, Tyrone. Hollidaysburg library sets Dec. programs

The Hollidaysburg Area Public Library has announced its activities for December. Please note the library’s special holiday hours. The library will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 23 and will be closed Dec. 24, 25 and 26 for the Christmas holiday. The library also will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 29 and 30 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 31.
