Hollidaysburg library sets Feb. programs

The Hollidaysburg Area Public Library has announced its activities for February. The library will be closed Feb. 14, 15 and 16 in observance of Presidents Day. n Canasta and Mah Jongg games are held at 11 a.m. Mondays. Beginners are welcome. n Maker Mondays are held all day Mondays in the Children’s Room. Arboretum seeks proposals for new exhibition

UNIVERSITY PARK — The Arboretum at Penn State invites Pennsylvania-based artists to submit their proposals to be included in a new outdoor art exhibition that will celebrate the history, ecology and artistry of Pennsylvania’s forests. The Penn’s Woods Outdoor Art Exhibition will feature 10 works of art that will be on display throughout the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens from June through August.
