WISE Women extends application deadline

WISE Women of Blair County and the Donna D. Gority scholarship have extended the deadline for applications for scholarship assistance. One or more scholarships will be awarded up to a total of $10,000. The deadline for applications is now 4 p.m. Friday, April 24. Completed applications must be received by U.S. Postal mail to WISE Women: P.O. Box 134, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 or info@wisewomenofblaircounty.org. Wildfire support crew receives grant

Dividing Ridge to use money for emergency equipment EBENSBURG –– The Dividing Ridge Wildfire Support Crew recently accepted a $5,096 grant from Energy Transfer through its First Responder Fund, which aided in the purchase of LED safety lights and headlamps. Energy Transfer is one of the largest and most diversified energy logistics companies in the country, with approximately 3,000 miles of pipeline infrastructure and gathering systems located in Pennsylvania.
