Blair Garden Club to visit Underhill Farm Blair Garden Club will meet Monday, Aug. 24, for a trip to Underhill Farm in Hollidaysburg. Members should be at the American Legion parking lot at 4:30 p.m. to carpool to the farm. Owners Will Churchill and Fred Stowell will provide a tour of their extensive gardens. Attendees will also get to see the rare Leicester Longwool sheep they raise on the farm. The fleece they produce is processed into lustrous yarn that is then hand-dyed at the farm. ‘Out of the Darkness’ walk to be held Sept. 13
Names for dedication are due by Aug. 28 To draw attention to the fight for suicide prevention, volunteers from Blair County will be uniting with more than a quarter of a million people who are participating in walks across the nation in September.
