The GFWC Hollidaysburg Area Women’s Club will sponsor a drive-up food drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Hewitt Street parking lot of the Hollidaysburg Area Junior High School.

Volunteers will be available to collect non-perishable food items, hygiene products and cleaning supplies from community members’ vehicles.

GFWC HAWC volunteers will also be collecting the above items at the Hollidaysburg Hometown Market on the same day from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Cash donations are also welcome.

Community members who aren’t able to participate on the day of the drive can deliver items before the event beginning the week of April 6. Collection boxes will be placed at the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library and the Blair Regional YMCA.

Items and cash collected will benefit local organizations including the American Rescue Workers, the Hollidaysburg Tiger Pack Program and Blair County shelters.
