Keith and Renee Parowski were voted Mardi Gras king and queen during the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art’s 50th anniversary celebration Cash Bash, a Mardi Gras-themed fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Bavarian Hall in Altoona. It featured Bourbon Street-style jazz by the Deacons of Dixieland, a Cajun-inspired buffet catered by Mayfield at the Capitol Hotel and nonstop excitement with cash prize drawings held approximately every 10 minutes, themed raffle baskets and a 50/50.
