Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth M. Diehl of 1643 Knob Run Road, Duncansville, observed their 59th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

They were married April 23, 1966, at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, Wilmore, by the Rev. James N. Feeley.

Mrs. Diehl is the former Nellie Luszik.

The couple have five children: Monica Lanzendorfer; Karen Heverly and her husband, Rich; Angela Dodson and her husband, Shawn; Brenda Carberry and her husband, Richard; and Kenny and his wife, Michele, all of Duncansville.

They also have 10 grandchildren: Zachary Lanzendorfer, Jacob Lanzendorfer, Anna Lanzendorfer, Isaac Lanzendorfer, Megan Burger, Marissa Burger, Samantha Dodson, Kendra Dodson, Katelyn Civils and Emily Diehl; and one great-grandson, Clayton “CJ” Lanzendorfer.

The couple are members of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Newry.
