Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smearman of Altoona will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 26, with a family dinner.

They were married April 26, 1974. Mrs. Smearman is the former Loretta Nardelli.

The couple have three children: Angela Servello and her husband, David, of Duncansville; Andy and his wife, Cheryl, of Bellwood; and Adam and his wife, Linn, of Altoona. They also have eight grandchildren: Alex, Ned, Amelia, Miles, Franny, Penny, Freja and Oscar.

Mr. Smearman retired from the Altoona Hospital, and Mrs. Smearman retired from the Altoona Area School District.
