If you were lucky enough to be able to pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 this weekend from your retailer of choice, well, the odds are good you probably aren’t reading this, and it would be hard to blame you. It’s been eight long years and change since the gaming giant from Japan released a new ...
The winds of change have been blowing all week in Pokemon Go and many of the features being implemented have been a long time coming. With the Crown Clash: Taken Over event, trainers could begin participating in shadow raids remotely. Even after the event ends at 8 p.m. Sunday, that change will remain in effect moving forward. Shadow Pokemon are surrounded by a burning purple aura and are generally considered to be stronger than regular Pokemon because of a “shadow bonus” that slightly increases the damage their attacks do in battles. Players generally catch shadow Pokemon in the ...
The world stood still on May 2 for “Grand Theft Auto” fans. People across the world lamented the news that came from Rockstar Games that the upcoming and highly anticipated next installment in their ever-popular series, “Grand Theft Auto VI,” will not release this fall as we all were originally told. The game is now set to launch over a year from now on May 26, 2026, the day after Memorial Day in the United States. In a statement released on Rockstar’s website, the game developer said, “We are very sorry that this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement ...
We're finally in the midst of spring weather! Beautiful flowers have sprouted like tulips, lilacs, daffodils and the greening of our small town is amazing! We've been getting a ton of rain lately (feels a bit like North Carolina!), but honestly, I’m grateful for it. I was fortunate to get a few from a local group, Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), which help support native plant and animal species in Pennsylvania. Despite the occasional storm, it feels amazing to be back in the ...
While the Ghost Town Trail in Ebensburg is recognized as a great place for outdoor recreational opportunities like walking, running and cycling, it’s also good for catching Pokemon. The daily adventure incense is an item first released in Pokemon Go on July 25, 2022. It allows trainers to attract Pokemon that are not usually seen in the wild, like Galarian birds, to their location for 15 minutes as long as they’re moving. Since trainers who move in a straight direction between spawns are likely to get more encounters off the incense, the Ghost Town Trail is a great location to find ...
I thoroughly enjoyed the two-night spectacle that was WWE’s WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas last weekend. The card was well balanced, and despite some complaints about the lack of a proper build to this year’s showcase of the immortals, I can honestly say that there wasn’t a single match I can point to and say “Oh yeah, that was bad.” Even the conclusion of Sunday’s main event, which saw John Cena surpass Ric Flair by defeating Cody Rhodes to win the undisputed WWE Championship for his 17th world title, was just fine. Rhodes has been the company’s top dog since last ...
