Labor Day Weekend Festivals, PA Roundhouse Rally and More This Weekend!

Here is a listing of area live music and online music happenings for the weekend and week of Friday, September 2 through Thursday, September 8.

Labor Day weekend is here, and multiple festivals and events populate this week’s live music slate. The Johnstown area features several festivals, including the Cambria City Ethnic Festival from Friday through Sunday, the Log House Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, and the Forest Hills Festival in nearby St. Michael from Saturday through Monday; all featuring live music. The Blair County Game, Fish & Forestry Association (located at the Riggles Gap Sportsmen’s grounds) hosts their annual Ox Roast Festival on Sunday and Monday, with live music both days. And the final installment of this year’s PA Roundhouse Rally summer series takes place Friday and Saturday at Roundhouse Harley-Davidson near Duncansville, with live bands both days.

And indoors, the Mishler Theatre hosts Yesterday Once More, a tribute to the Carpenters, Abba, the 5th Dimension and the Mamas & Papas, on Friday evening. And national recording act Tantric returns to McGarvey’s on Thursday night, with guests Silvertung and AngerBox.
