From Mirror reports The Altoona Curve and Somerset Patriots were postponed due to rain on Friday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. The game will be made up as a doubleheader on Saturday with a 2 p.m. first pitch in game one. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games. The fireworks for Saturday’s game will be rescheduled for a future date this season. Those with tickets to Friday’s game will be able to exchange them for another home game this season of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. From Mirror reports Sammy Siani knocked an RBI triple for his first Double-A hit, but it was the only bright spot generated by the Curve on Tuesday morning in an 8-1 defeat to the Somerset Patriots at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Somerset (13-14) slugged seven extra-base hits in the contest, the most allowed by the Curve this season.
