Huntingdon hosts Juneteenth celebration

The annual Huntingdon County Juneteenth Celebration will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Portstown Park in Huntingdon. The Huntingdon County Juneteenth Celebration Committee serves as host for this event. TYRONE — The final 2026-27 general fund budget with a 4.9% increase in millage was approved during the Tyrone Area School Board’s regular session Tuesday, along with the hiring of Derrick Soellner as the district’s new business administrator.
