He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, a son of the late Manuel G. and Mary Frances (Gonzalez) Pena. He married Janet L. Murphy on May 29, 1982, in Laurel, Md. Surviving are his wife, Janet Murphy Pena; a son, Martin Pena Eustis (Paige) of Taneytown, Md.; three grandchildren: grandson, Tobias Eustis; granddaughter, Permelia “Peaches” Eustis; and grandson, Manuel “Manny” Eustis; and a son, Kenneth Pena, of Columbia, Md.
