W. Dale Detwiler, 98, of Elderton, passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Warren and Emma Elizabeth (Isenberg) Detwiler. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Kathie Cessna; son, Bruce Detwiler; and three brothers. Surviving are sons: Robert, Gary and Scott Detwiler; son-in-law, Richard Cessna; daughter-in-law, Jodie Detwiler; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Dale was a U.S. Army veteran.
