Paul E. “Pap” Cunningham Sr., 70, Roaring Spring, died Wednesday. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Raymond Sr. and Mary (Johnston) Cunningham. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley; and three siblings. Surviving are children, Kim Paul and Paul Cunningham; his grandchildren; and brothers: Gary Giselman, Don, Raymond and Joe Cunningham. W. Dale Detwiler

W. Dale Detwiler, 98, of Elderton, passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Warren and Emma Elizabeth (Isenberg) Detwiler. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Kathie Cessna; son, Bruce Detwiler; and three brothers. Surviving are sons: Robert, Gary and Scott Detwiler; son-in-law, Richard Cessna; daughter-in-law, Jodie Detwiler; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Dale was a U.S. Army veteran. All services will be held privately. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Martinsburg.
