Nancy L. Sitman, 87, Bellwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday evening at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William Albright and Ellen Nancy (Greenwalt) Crawford.
On Dec. 2, 1961, she married James B. Sitman at Logan's Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 64 years; two daughters, Debra A. "Debbie" (Tim) Watters and Margaret E. "Peg" (Michael) Rhoades; three grandchildren: James (Julia) and Alexander (Victoria) Watters and Justin (Rebecca) Hanna; seven great-grandchildren: Luca and Oakleigh Hanna, Olivia, Sienna, Sophia, Lilly and Hudson Watters; a brother, Kenneth; and her two sisters, Ellen Black and Dorothy Benson.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Robert, William and James Crawford, Mary Phillips and Betty Mazziotta.
Nancy was a member of Logan's Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood. She enjoyed watching FOX news and shopping, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Nancy's warm smile and sense of humor will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor Stan Gill officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
The family suggests that contributions in Nancy's memory be made to Logan's Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood.
