Sylvana L. Berry, 63, Duncansville, died Thursday after a brief illness. She was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, daughter of the late Erich and Liane (Freudenberg) Sauer. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Koch (Justin) and Melissa Yon (Nicholas); her grandchildren: Oliver, Lukas and Katherine Koch and Theo and Wyatt Yon; and siblings: Matthias, Heike, Mario and Mandi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and a brother, Thomas. Sylvana worked at the Bavarian Aid Society for the past 23 years. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
