BEDFORD -- Two people are dead after a murder-suicide in Bedford County.
According to state police at Bedford, 43-year-old Rick Alan Wirth shot and killed his girlfriend, Felicia N. Barton, 26, at their Osterburg-area home Tuesday before turning a gun on himself.
State police said Wirth shot Barton just before 7 p.m. and the sequence of events was captured on the surveillance system of the home, which is located at 598 Brumbaugh Road in East St. Clair Township, Bedford County.
A family member discovered the bodies of Wirth and Barton about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
