The body of a man was found by kayakers in the Juniata River, Blair Township, on Monday morning.
According to WJAC-TV, Blair Township police said two kayakers found the body of the white man floating in the river near Charger Highway and Chestnut Lane about 7:30 a.m.
The body of the unidentified man is believed to have been in that location for several days, according to WTAJ-TV reports, and investigators plan to look into several missing person cases as they work to identify the individual, thought to be between 20 and 30 years old.
An autopsy is slated for this morning.
No additional information was available. The investigation is ongoing.
