A Hyndman woman faces multiple drug possession and manufacturing charges for allegedly planting marijuana at her residence.
Polly Ann Brick, 38, of 247 Church St., admitted to owning and planting all six marijuana plants found in the basement of the residence Sept. 27, according to a police complaint. The plants were reportedly housed in separate buckets in two separate tents that had interior lights, fans and ventilation systems.
Police also allegedly found five multicolored glass smoking devices with burnt marijuana residue and a pink metal grinder containing a small amount of marijuana on the basement steps.
Brick reportedly started growing the marijuana plants three months ago.
The defendant was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Cyril Bingham Jr. Her preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Oct. 10 at Bedford County Central Court.
Her bail was set at $50,000.
