Golf event benefits Tyrone Hospital

The Tyrone Regional Health Network Foundation raised more than $19,000 to benefit Tyrone Hospital via its 17th annual golf tournament.

Funds raised will be used to help with the purchase of 3-D mammography technology for Tyrone Hospital.

The tournament was held June 4 at Iron Masters Country Club, Roaring Spring.

The golf tournament winners were Credit Control Collections, first place; Giant Eagle and Pennsyl-vania Golf Association,

tied for second; Dennis Myers, closest to the pin; and Wes Furry, longest drive.
