SAXTON – The Saxton Liberty High School Alumni Association is offering Tussey Mountain High School graduates the opportunity to receive a $2,500 scholarship award.
It will be presented to the recipient at the 28th annual Alumni Association Reunion Banquet held at the Six Mile Run Fire Hall on Sept. 5.
The Scholarship Com-mittee is seeking applications for the 2015 award. To be eligible for the award, the student must be a graduate of Tussey Mountain High School, be a second-year college student enrolled in a college program leading to a four-year degree, include an official transcript of first-year grades and return the completed application to the Scholarship Committee by July 13.
Any Tussey Mountain graduate who meets the above criteria is urged to apply. Applications may be picked up at the Tussey Mountain High School office, the Saxton Liberty Elementary office, the Saxton Community Library or downloaded from the Tussey Mountain website.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. The award will be made directly to the college for the benefit of the student.
