PATTON — Brielle McMillen won four individual events, the 100-meter dash, the high jump, long jump and triple jump for Cambria Heights in a high school track and field meet against Portage and Blacklick Valley on Wednesday.

The Heights girls downed Portage, 99-42, and Blacklick Valley, 132-8. Portage defeated Blacklick Valley, 116-24.

Also on the girls side, Madison Morley won the shot put and discus, and Sierra Hoover won the 1600 and the 3200 runs.

On the boys side, Daniel Williams won the shot put and the discus for Cambria Heights, Brayden DeArmitt won the 100 dash and the high jump, and Mason Kline won the 800 and 1600 runs. Portage’s Josh Papcun won the 200 and 400 dashes.

The Highlanders defeated Portage and Blacklick Valley, 103-38. The Mustangs edged Blacklick, 68-62.

Panthers split

WINDBER — The Northern Bedford boys beat Shade, 117-26, but fell short to Windber, 80-69, while the Lady Panthers routed Shade, 128-19, but lost to Windber, 80-70.

Halle Baker won the 100 dash and triple jump for the Lady Panthers and was part of two winning relays. Amberly Detterline won the long jump and javelin, and Bella Gable won the shot put and discus.

Chris Corle won the 1600 and 3200 runs for the Panthers.

Windber beat Shade in both the boys (100-22) and girls (122-26).

SAXTON — Ava Dixon won the 3200 run for the Williamsburg girls, and Tanner Ross won the 3200 run for the Blue Pirates in a track and field meet against Tussey Mountain, Southern Fulton and Berlin Brothersvalley.

Berlin Brothersvalley scored the most points on the boys side with 88.5 followed by Tussey Mountain at 85, then Southern Fulton at 84.5 and Williamsburg at 18.

On the girls side, Berlin Brothersvalley had 118.5 points, Southern Fulton compiled 66, Tussey Mountain finished at 63.5 and Williamsburg had 24 points.
