HARRISBURG — Altoona dominated Harrisburg and Central Dauphin East in high school track and field on Thursday.

Hannah Owulade won four individual events — both hurdles and the long and triple jumps — to lead the Lady Lions past Harrisburg, 141-7, and CD East, 148-0.

Sophia O’Dea (100-meter dash and 200 dash), Ashlyn Noce (800 and 1600 runs) and Kihlee Noel (shot put and discus) each won two events for the Lady Lions.

The Altoona boys beat Harrisburg, 127.5-22.5, and CD East, 141-8, with Colin Etters (100 and 200 dashes), Xander Frederick (800 and 1600 runs) and Kyhaire Hall (long and triple jumps) leading the way with two wins apiece.

SAXTON — The Juniata Valley teams both came in third place in a meet at Tussey Mountain with McConnellsburg and Meyersdale.

The boys finished with 54 points, McConnellsburg won with 88, Meyersdale had 81, and Tussey Mountain was last with 51.

The girls ended with 59 points, McConnellsburg took first with 81, Tussey had 73, and Meyersdale had 48 to take fourth.

Trenton Norris captured the shot put and javelin as the only double winner for the Green Hornets, while Aubrey Anderson claimed the long jump and triple jump for the Lady Hornets.
