The Altoona girls dominated two Mid-Penn Conference opponents in high school track and field at Mansion Park on Tuesday.

The Lady Lions, now 5-0, beat Chambersburg, 91.5-44.5, and Central Dauphin, 120.5-15.5.

Jill Long won the long and triple jumps for Altoona, and Kihlee Noel won the shot put and discus. Other winners were Sophia O’Dea (200-meter dash), Ashlyn Noce (1600 run), Hannah Owulade (100 hurdles), Ajaycia Alexander (300 hurdles), Natalie Lear (high jump), Megan Kelly (javelin) and Sage Bower (pole vault).

The Altoona boys topped Central Dauphin, 119-16, but fell to Chambersburg, 77-59.

Colin Etters won the 100 and 200 dashes for the Mountain Lions, Mike Colyer won the discus, and Collin Lutz won the pole vault.

BELLWOOD — Ella Cherry won four events as the Bellwood-Antis girls topped Somerset, 92-58, Bishop McCort, 146-4, and Clearfield, 111-39.

Cherry won the 100 and 200 dashes and the long and triple jumps, and Emma Taneyhill won the shot put and discus for the Lady Blue Devils.

Rain shortens meet

BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte edged the Hollidaysburg girls, 59-58, and the Lady Tigers beat Tyrone, 61-52, in a rain-shortened track meet with several events that did not finish and two rain delays. Bellefonte also beat the Lady Eagles, 66-52.

Jaclyn Sahlaney won the 100 dash and the long jump for Hollidaysburg.

On the boys side, Braelyn Ross won both hurdle events and Devin Walters won the 100 dash and long jump. Both of them were on the winning 400 relay team as well.

Hollidaysburg defeated Bellefonte, 72-37, and Tyrone, 66-39.

MARTINSBURG — The Central girls topped Huntingdon, 89-61, and Philipsburg-Osceola, 134-15, and the Lady Bearcats beat P-O, 110-40.

SIDMAN — Eli Cunningham and Garrett Farabaugh each won two events for the Bishop Carroll boys in a meet with Forest Hills and Westmont Hilltop.
