HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg won both the boys and girls meets against Altoona in high school swimming action on Wednesday.
Margaret Bandstra won both the 200-yard freestyle and 200 individual medley in leading the Hollidaysburg girls to a 107-63 victory. The Lady Tigers improved to 11-0.
The Hollidaysburg boys won, 92-73, behind double wins from Caleb Swalga (100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke) and Kaden Henderson (200 IM and 100 butterfly).

TCA rifle defeated
EVERETT — The Tyrone Christian Academy rifle team lost a 1,410-953 decision to Everett in high school action at the Everett Sportsmen’s Club Wednesday.
Tyrone was led by Christian Harris and Isabelle Deal, who both finished with 253s.
Everett, which is 9-0, got 287s from both Kinzey Williams and Laila Mills.

AAHS gymnasts win
Linae Heaster won four events for the Altoona Area High School gymnastics team in its 135.175-125.825 win over Wellsboro at the AAHS Fieldhouse on Tuesday.
Heaster took first in the vault (9.075), beam (9.025), beam (9.025), floor (8.925) and all-around (35.25) for the Lady Lions, who improved to 6-0. Waynesboro’s Emma Hotchkiss took first in the bars (8.45).
