Coaches softball game set for June 16

CLAYSBURG — The 2026 Pennsylvania Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Game — comprised of area high school seniors — is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 at Claysburg-Kimmel High School.
The game will begin at 6:45 p.m., and after the first four innings of the eight-inning game, this year’s underclass all-stars and the 2026 inducted District 6 Hall of Fame players will be recognized.
Playing for the West Team all-stars will be Hollidaysburg’s Mikaylah Vincent, Maggie Hicks and Hallie Chandler, Altoona’s Kaya Sprankle and Skyler Reed, and Tyrone’s Ameriah Sprankle and Allison McNelis.
Others for the West are West Shamokin’s Leah Mondi and Cameron Vandervort, Bald Eagle Area’s Addie Burns and Casey Angellotti, Forest Hills’ Morgan Gdula and Aviah Maui, Huntingdon’s Izzy Kazmarski and Leah Beck, and Juniata’s Sophia Smith.
Claysburg-Kimmel’s McKenna Black, Payton Hinish and Jaylee Swindell will play for the East Team, along with Cambria Heights’ Margaret Ellis and Hallie Hayes, Central Cambria’s Katie Scott, Glendale’s Jayden Fry and Central’s Norah Bechtel.
Others on the East are Mount Union’s Ke’Andrea Wible and Sydnee Harris, Mifflin County’s Ava Baker and Piper Specht, Moshannon Valley’s Annabeth Anderson and Ava Robinson, and Conemaugh Valley’s Madelyn Beiter and Kylee Ferguson.
Inducted Hall of Famers are Central’s Cameryn Feathers and Tori Longenecker, Claysburg-Kimmel’s Keyara Morgan, Glendale’s Alexis Mulhollen, Cambria Heights’ Abby Lobick, State College’s Alyssa Shedlock Bretz, Philipsburg-Osceola’s Haylee Hayward, Southern Huntingdon’s Morgan Sheeder and West Branch’s Morgan Rackish.
Underclass all-stars include Altoona’s Jayda Yost and Natalie Baker, Glendale’s Elizabeth Kauffman, Central’s Kailyn Gahagan and Addison Moses, Central Cambria’s Camryn Matlin and Kaydence Sinclair, Tyrone’s Sage Harris and Kaitlyn Rockwell, Cambria Heights’ Rylee Lane and Carlie Jo Bachick, and Claysburg-Kimmel’s Isabella Paris, Savanna Crissman and Aleah Rightenour.
Other underclass all-stars are West Shamokin’s Abbi Kimmel and Elena Gourley, BEA’s Harlee Witherite and Kendall Gaulock, Bellefonte’s Abby Herr and Adrienne Masullo, West Branch’s Lindsey Bainey, Forest Hills’ Trista Cruley and Rhory Whetstone, Huntingdon’s Alivia Nicklow and Raelyn Fisher, Mount Union’s Payton Williams, Southern Huntingdon’s Ella Young and Emma Smith, and Conemaugh Valley’s Madison McCleester and Megan Bilak.
ICC stars named
Claysburg-Kimmel had three players make the ICC East Division Softball All-Stars first team.
C-K’s Isabella Paris made it as a pitcher-designater player, Jaylee Swindell as shortstop and McKenna Black as a catcher.
Northern Bedford’s Mylee Mitchell also made the first team as a pitcher-outfielder and was joined by Tussey Mountain’s Joslyn Raley (P) and Olivia Millers (SS), Southern Huntingdon’s Ella Young (P) and Emma Smith (2B), and Mount Union’s KeAndra Wible (SS-P) and Payton Williams (P-OF).
Claysburg’s Savanna Crissman (2B) was an honorable mention pick along with Tussey’s Brianna Gabrielson (C), Mount Union’s Sydney Harris (CF) and Southern Huntingdon’s Lydia Dell (3B).
