Juniata Valley baseball team grabs No. 1 seed in District 6 Class 1A

Juniata Valley, which gave eventual state champion Southern Fulton a scare in the first round of the PIAA playoffs before falling by a run last season, will be the top seed in the District 6 Class 1A high school baseball playoffs, which begin Thursday. The Green Hornets will play the winner of Thursday’s Williamsburg at Portage game in the quarterfinals on Monday, May 18.
